About the Job
We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive B2B sales experience, particularly in wholesale, warehouse closeouts, and inventory recovery. This role focuses on revenue growth, market expansion, and client acquisition in the closeout and liquidation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and buying channels for closeout inventory.
  • Collaborate with leadership to price inventory competitively and profitably.
Team Leadership & Performance:
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Set performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and drive accountability.
  • Conduct regular coaching, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Negotiate deals with buyers and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Address and resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
Market Intelligence:
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
  • Leverage insights to position inventory effectively and identify new sourcing/buying opportunities.
Reporting & Forecasting:
  • Track sales activities and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and revenue projections.
  • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and client engagement.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in closeouts, liquidation, wholesale, or related industries.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of reverse logistics or secondary markets.
  • Existing buyer/supplier network in the closeout/liquidation space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
